The Packers’ workout Tuesday included a quarterback
Aaron Rodgers is battling a couple of injuries before the Green Bay Packers Week 13 game against the Chicago Bears. Rodgers had to come out of the game in Week 12 with a rib injury. Backup quarterback Jordan Love came in for Rodgers and had a great performance. Rodgers said on Tuesday that he received good news on his scans and wants to play against the Bears. The team appeared to take a look at other quarterbacks during a recent Packers workout.
According to Rob Demovsky of ESPN, the Packers brought in James Morgan for a workout this week. Morgan was a fourth-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Packers worked out QB James Morgan, the Ashwaubenon HS alum who was a fourth-round pick of the Jets in 2020
They also worked out five tight ends:

Morgan was drafted by the Jets. He has played with New York Jets, Pittsburgh Steelers, Carolina Panthers, and Indianapolis Colts since the 2020 season. Morgan signed with the Pittsburgh Maulers, a USFL team, in September. Morgan would be a homegrown talent if the Packers sign him. He was born in Green Bay and went to Ashwaubenon High School.
Morgan has no stats since he joined the NFL. He would likely join the practice squad if the Packers signed him. Danny Etling is the quarterback currently on the Packers practice squad. With Rodgers playing and Love servicing as a helpful backup, Morgan would not likely get regular-season snaps.
