Davante Adams has been traded to the Las Vegas Raiders, but not due to lack of the Packers trying. Reportedly the Packers were willing to pay Davante Adams 28 million a year over 5 years.
Per a source, the Packers we’re willing to pay Adams equally to what the Raiders are with this new deal but Adams preferred to play elsewhere.
Aaron Rodgers was aware of the developments with Adams as they unfolded in recent days.

Davante Adams chose well in advance to leave Green Bay and play for the Raiders. When he said that he wouldn’t play on the franchise tag, trade talks were already underway.
What’s Next?
The Packers were 7-0 without Adams under LaFleur. Anyone who’s been looking for a more diversified offensive attack, it’s on the way… The Packers have also been linked to multiple receivers through out free agency. We fully expect to see one or two of those signings to take place going forward.
