There was a huge injury report for the Green Bay Packers on Wednesday, which included quarterback Jordan Love. Love has been dealing with a groin injury ever since the Jacksonville Jaguars game this past Sunday.
Green Bay will be facing the Detroit Lions this weekend. The Packers are 6-2 this season and the Lions are 6-1. The winner of this matchup will go into first place in the NFC North.
Green Bay Packers Quarterback Jordan Love Limited At Practice On Thursday
On Thursday, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reported that Love was limited at Packers practice. It will be interesting to see what his practice status will be on Friday. If he is limited again, he will be truly questionable for the game this weekend against Detroit.
What can’t happen on Friday is Love not practicing at all. If he doesn’t practice at all, it most likely will mean that Malik Willis will make a start for the third time this season. He won both starts this season against the Indianapolis Colts and the Tennessee Titans.
Bye Week Next Week
After the Detroit Lions matchup, the Packers will be on a bye week before the November 17 matchup against the Chicago Bears on the road. Some Packers fans want to see head coach Matt LaFleur start Willis over Love this week because of health-related reasons.
They want Love to be fully healthy for the Bears matchup. Friday will tell the bigger story of Jordan Love’s availability for the Detroit Lions matchup.
