Free agent wide receiver Will Fuller remains on the open market as we get into the first week of June. Fuller has been a name thrown around the league as a potential deep threat option for months. Many wide receiver needy teams have reports of at least being interested in the veteran wide receiver. One of those teams had Will Fuller’s former starting quarterback, the Cleveland Browns.
The Cleveland Browns will no longer pursue WR Will Fuller

Once the Browns acquired Deshaun Watson, and lost Jarvis Landry to the Saints, Fuller to the Browns seemed to make a lot of sense. Deshaun Watson and Will Fuller played together in Houston for four years (2017-2020). During those years he averaged over 600 yards, 5 touchdowns, and 41 receptions a season. A reunion in Cleveland seemed all but imminent. The Browns roster could certainly use him.
According to Mary Kay Cabot of cleveland.com, the Browns “are not one of the two teams besides the Colts having ‘fruitful’ discussions for receiver T.Y. Hilton.”
Additionally, free agent Will Fuller is “no longer currently on the radar.”
Cleveland isn’t showing interest in any wide receivers at the moment, nothing specific agains Will Fuller it sounds like. When healthy he is legitimately one of the best deep threat wide receivers in the NFL. Fuller has averaged a robust 14.7 yards per catch throughout his career. However multiple issues have caused him to miss most of the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Fuller is the ultimate case of the boom-or-bust receiver. “Boom” in him being one of the league’s premier deep threats when he’s on the field. The “bust” comes from whether he sees the field at all. Going into the 2022 NFL season healthy, he deserves another shot at being “that guy.”
If the Packers are interested in a low risk signing, Will Fuller is still out there.
