Thanks for sticking around for part two of our incredily-too-early record predictions! Once again, huge shout out goes to Robin Adams (@theotherRobin19), Tyler Schisel (@tshiz1434) and Chris Gallagher (@ChrisGally06) for their input and work into this piece.
If you missed part one, you can catch up on it here!
Week 9 – Rams
Dan Kotnik: W – These aren’t the same ol’ Rams, no one should be scared of them
Robin Adams: W – Bold Prediction: Rashan Gary returns and records 3 sacks
Tyler Schisel: W
Chris Gallagher: W – The Rams will get back Matthew Stafford. They also still have Cooper Kupp at reciever and Aaron Donald along the defensive line. However, the rest of their roster is undergoing a significant rebuild. This means the Packers should be able to take advantage of the other matchups.
Week 10 – @ Steelers
Dan Kotnik: L – I hate the Steelers, which means they lose this game for sure
Robin Adams: L – Bold Prediction: Love’s first bad start; throws 3 INTs; fans turn on him
Tyler Schisel: L –
Chris Gallagher: L –One of the top defenses in the NFL, the Steelers have the ability to get after the quarterback and are stout on the back end with safety Minkah Fitzpatrick leading the way.
Week 11 – Chargers
Dan Kotnik: W – This is another duel shoot out, but the circumstances couldn’t be better for Love. He gets a high-flying offense at home on a long trip at the onset of winter.
Robin Adams: W – Bold Prediction: Love outduels Social Media QB and is “loved” again
Tyler Schisel: L
Chris Gallagher: L – Home to a group of skill players featuring Keenan Allen, Mike Williams, rookie Quentin Johnston, and Austin Ekeler the Chargers can score points in bunches which will make it hard for Green Bay to keep pace.
Week 12 – @ Lions (Thanksgiving)
Dan Kotnik: W – I’m very tempted to say the Packers will ruin my Thanksgiving, but I do think they’ll learn from Week 4. Plus I think this Green Bay offense will be explosive anytime they play indoors.
Robin Adams: W – Bold Prediction: Christian Watson puts up 150 and 2 TDs
Tyler Schisel: W
Chris Gallagher: W – After falling to the Lions back in week 4, the Packers are able to force Jared Goff into multiple turnovers in this one. Christian Watson catches two touchdowns in the victory,.
Week 13 – Chiefs (SNF)
Dan Kotnik: W – Something about this game: Love facing the first team he started against, at home, no one expects them to win. We’re nobodies underdog and this game just gives me a feeling
Robin Adams: L – Bold Prediction: Joe Barry cries trying to stop P Mahomes
Tyler Schisel: L – Joe Barry gets fired after Mahomes throws for 450+
Chris Gallagher: L – The defending Super Bowl champions and the best team in the game with the best player in the game, this will be a fun litmus test for Jordan Love. Nonetheless, the tandem of Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce will be too much for the Packers on this day.
Week 14 – @ Giants (MNF)
Dan Kotnik: L – As long as the Giants have Daniel Jones at quarterback, I’ll always believe they can be beaten by anyone. However, I think there’s a bit of a let down coming off a big SNF win in the previous week.
Robin Adams: L – Bold Prediction: Fans start to wonder if we take a QB in the First Round
Tyler Schisel: W
Chris Gallagher: L – Looking to build off their first playoff appearance since 2016 a year ago, the New York Giants beat Green Bay in London to kickstart the Packers three game losing streak. While they still have significant questions at quarterback with Daniel Jones, the team has a significant coaching edge in this one with head coach Brian Daboll calling plays against Joe Barry.
Week 15 – Buccaneers
Dan Kotnik: W – Too bad Brady isn’t on this team anymore, because I’d love to see him come to Lambeau in the Winter and get beaten by Jordan Love
Robin Adams: W – Bold Prediction: Fans love Love again
Tyler Schisel: W
Chris Gallagher: W – A rematch of the 2020 NFC Championship game, the Buccaneers will look much different in this one post Tom Brady. New quarterback Baker Mayfield has not fared well at Lambeau Field in December. He has thrown threw three touchdowns vs. five interceptions with a 55.7 passer rating. Expect Tampa Bay to be out of the playoff hunt at this point, allowing the Packers to snap their two game losing skid and stay in the playoff hunt.
Week 16 – @ Panthers
Dan Kotnik: W – Until I see Bryce Young play QB in the NFL, nothing else about this team scares me. Young would need to be a true superstar for me to feel nervous about this game
Robin Adams: L – Bold Prediction: Talk of Matt LaFleur getting fired starts
Tyler Schisel: L
Chris Gallagher: W – A team on the rise after hiring Frank Reich at head coach in the offseason and selecting quarterback Bryce Young first overall, the Panthers have a good young defense that could limit Jordan Love and the Packers other playmakers to make this a slugfest. Althrough, their offense is still a work in progress around the Alabama product. Green Bay should make enough plays to escape with the narrow victory.
Week 17 – @ Vikings (SNF)
Dan Kotnik: W – My head says the Packers lose this game. My heart says screw the Vikings.
Robin Adams: W – Bold Prediction: Gilbert Brown is unbearably hilarious on the post game pod
Tyler Schisel: W
Chris Gallagher: L – New Years eve night on the road at US Bank Stadium. In what should be a tremendous atmosphere, this will be one of the toughest road starts for Love. While Minnesota’s defense should allow for chunk plays all game long, until the Packers figure out how to slow down Justin Jefferson on his home turf, nothing else matters.
Week 18 – Bears
Dan Kotnik: L – Starters are rested, Sean Clifford loses a duel with Justin Fields
Robin Adams: W – Bold Prediction: Packers clinch division, Bears clinch top 10 draft pick
Tyler Schisel: W – Aaron Rodgers who? Jordan Love owns the Bears
Chris Gallagher: W – A dogfight to end the season against a much improved Bears team, Justin Fields and company will keep this game close, leading it to come down to the wire. However, Chicago’s defense still is not good enough to create enough stops late and Aaron Jones and AJ Dillon put the game away and help Green Bay clinch the final wild card spot in the NFC.
Final Record Prediction
Dan Kotnik: 13-3, 2nd seed in the NFC. Cope harder, haters.
Robin Adams: 11-6
Tyler Schisel: 10-7, playoffs but 2nd in the division
Chris Gallagher: 9-8, 7th seed in the NFC
