The Milwaukee Brewers have one of the most consistent teams in all of Major League Baseball. Over the last eight seasons, they have made the MLB postseason seven times and have won the National League Central Division four times.
What separates them from many other perennial contenders for those sports betting in Wisconsin is that the vast majority of the Milwaukee Brewers players who are key contributors and are homegrown talent that they drafted and developed in their own minor league system. As the league’s smallest market, they simply are unable to bring in premium talent via free agency.
This year, Milwaukee is relying on several young players 25 years old or younger to carry the team.
Best Milwaukee Brewers Under 25 To Watch
Right-Handed Pitcher Abner Uribe (25 Years Old)
25-year-old right handed relief pitcher Abner Uribe is one of the most exciting pitchers on the Brewers roster. With an electric fastball that touches 100 mph, he is a difficult pitcher for opponents to face.
Through five games in 2025, Uribe has a 0.00 ERA, a 1-0 record, and seven strikeouts in 5.2 innings.
He missed the first four games of the season while serving a suspension for a fight in which he was involved last year.
Right Fielder Sal Frelick (25 Years Old)
Going into the 2025 season, there was no question who Milwaukee’s everyday right fielder should be. Sal Frelick won the National League Gold Glove Award at the position last year.
What has been surprising, though, is how much of an improvement Frelick has made at the plate offensively. Through 12 games, Frelick is hitting .356/.431/.422. Last season, he hit .259/.320/.335.
While it is not likely that he will hit .350 over the course of an entire year, his plate discipline and exit velocity indicate that he will have a much better year at the plate. Clearly, he’s near the top of our list of best Milwaukee Brewers players 25 or under.
Second Baseman Brice Turang (25 Years Old)
Last year, Brice Turang won the National League Gold Glove at second base as well as the league’s Platinum Glove as the best overall defender. He also stole 50 bases, making him a Milwaukee Brewers players and fan favorite.
Like Frelick, Turang struggled a bit at the plate last season, hitting .254/.316/.349. Also like Frelick, though, he has gotten off to a hot start in 2025.
Through 12 games, the Brewers’ second baseman is hitting .327/.358/.531 with three home runs and eight RBI. He also became the third player in franchise history to have an 11-game hit streak to start a season.
Outfielder Jackson Chourio (21 Years Old)
Last season, Jackson Chourio became the youngest players in Major League history to have a 20-20 season, hitting .275/.327/.464 with 21 home runs, 79 RBI, and 22 stolen bases.
So bright is his future that Milwaukee signed him to an eight-year contract (with club options for two additional years) before he even made his Major League debut.
And the young star is off to a great start in 2025. After going 0-5 with five strikeouts on Opening Day, Chourio is hitting .315/.309/.685 with four home runs and a National League-leading 16 RBI through 12 games.
