The Green Bay Packers added three wide receivers in the 2022 NFL Draft. Christian Watson out of NDSU in the second round, Romeo Doubs out of Nevada in the fourth round, and Samouri Toure out of Nebraska in the seventh round. There seems to be pretty high expectations for Watson and Doubs even going into year one. Many fans just hope to see Toure make an impact on special teams. However even with all those assets added, acquiring one more veteran wide receiver like Chargers’ Keenan Allen could be the missing piece for a Super Bowl run.
WR Keenan Allen to Green Bay?
Keenan Allen is the same age as Davante Adams, and almost as lethal of a route runner. With the Los Angeles Chargers giving WR Mike Williams a monster 3 year contract, Keenan Allen becomes a possible trade target. Allen only has two years left on his contract, but an out after 2022. This type of trade would seemingly cost the Packers a fraction of what they got for Adams. On top of that a restructured deal to extend him longer than two years would work out on both sides.
.@PSchrags mentioned Keenan Allen multiple times on @gmfb as a player he’d like to see in Green Bay.
Chargers just gave Mike Williams the bag and Allen is already making 20M APY at 29 years old.
A post-June 1 trade would save LAC 16.5M per Over The Cap. 🧐🧐

Keenan Allen is still one of the sharpest route runners in the NFL and therefore continues to produce. In 2021 he finished with 106 receptions, 1,138 yards, and 6 touchdowns. Above all, he is the exact kind of presence Green Bay could use in their passing game. Again, there is no guarantee the Chargers are willing to part with him. However, if it is for significantly less than what Green Bay got for Adams, I am pulling the trigger all day.
Proposed Trade:
Packers Receive:
- WR Keenan Allen
- 2023 Fourth Round Draft Pick
Chargers Receive:
- 2023 Third Round Pick
- 2023 Fifth Round Pick

We do not need another wide receiver. The personnel we have will get the job done. Make sure the oline and dline and defense is whole. Then we will be on the way to the super bowl.
This is dreamland stuff. No way the Chargers just give away Keenan for that little. How about a LA 2023 4th rd strait up for your GB 2023 1st rd? Same thing if we are being silly.
You’re nuts to think the chargers would only want a 3rd and 5th for allen. You get paid to come up with this?
They didn’t lose a free agent,they didn’t even offer him a contract!
Really we send kennan and a 4th rounder and only get back a 3rd and 5th in return tha tr would never happen kennan is worth at minimum a 1st at least next year that would probably be a 2nd or something cus he would be 30 years old but he is a guaranteed 100+ catch 1000+ yard 6+ touchdown producer every year you know what you get with kennan Allen and its consistently pro bowl production every time
