The Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the best teams in the NBA over the last four years. Their success was highlighted in 2021 when they beat the Phoenix Suns in the NBA Championship. There are multiple reports indicating that the Milwaukee Bucks may be for sale. As it turns out, there may be a buyer interested in one of the best teams in the NBA. Current Cleveland Browns Owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam are in talks to buy a minority stake in the team.
Dee And Jimmy Haslam In Talks To Buy The Milwaukee Bucks

According to Adam Schefter:
The Haslams, who have explored expanding their pro sports portfolio outside Ohio in the past, are seeking to acquire the 25% share currently held by Marc Lasry, the sources said.
There is no timeline for an agreement or sale, according to multiple reports. The news was first reported by The Athletic. Lasry and Wesley Edens, both New York investment firm executives, bought the Bucks from former U.S. Sen. Herb Kohl for about $550 million in 2014 with pledges to keep the team in Milwaukee.
There has reportedly a growing possibility that Milwaukee Bucks’ owner Marc Lasry will sell his ownership stake in the team in 2023, according to league sources. The Milwaukee Bucks were purchased by Marc Lasry and Wes Edens in April 2014 from Senator Herb Kohl for a reported $550 million.
There has also been talk that Lasry may sell his stake directly to Edens, who already co-owns Aston Villa in the English Premier League along with his role as co-owner of the Bucks. In Forbes’ most recent compilation of franchise valuations in October 2022, the Bucks ranked 15th in the NBA at $2.3 billion. Lasry and Edens joined forces to buy the team at the end of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s first season in the NBA in 2013-14. The team entered a new stadium in Fiserv Forum in 2018 and won the franchise’s first championship in 50 years during the 2020-21 campaign.
The Haslams purchased the Browns in 2012 from Randy Lerner for $1.05 billion. They also own the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer and manage the stadiums for both of those franchises. There were plenty of reactions regarding the possibility of the Haslams purchasing the Bucks on social media:
God have mercy on the Bucks. Hopefully it stay a minority percentage.
