Tuli Tuipulotu Scouting Report
Per NFL Draft Buzz, Tuipulotu has the following strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths
- Tuipulotu can also win going speed-to-power, with the leg drive to push blockers back
- Shows a natural feel for setting up blockers and getting them off-balance
- His spin move is already NFL-caliber, and he displays a very good motor
- His core flexibility and balance are excellent, and he has the prototypical length
Weaknesses
- Tuipulotu doesn’t have the skill set to bend around the edge; he’ll have to attack gaps as a pass rusher
- While he moves well laterally, he doesn’t always get there in pursuit

Tuli Tuipulotu in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Tuipulotu is projected as a second-round pick. However, some mock drafts have him going in the first round. He is a different type of edge prospect as his skill set is different than a lot of the class. This could be attractive to certain teams. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Tuipulotu being taken.
- Fantasy Pro – No. 15 overall: Steelers
- Walter Football – No. 29 overall: Broncos
Would Tuli Tuipulotu Fit on the Packers?
The Packers would love to build some edge depth in the draft. Tuipulotu is an intriguing fit for the Packers. On the one hand, the Packers tend to prefer the edge prospects that can go around the edge. However, that leads to some issues in run defense. Tuipulotu could add some interior pass rush off the edge while players like Rashan Gary and Kingsley Enagbare come off the edge.

Edge is so challenging to predict for any team because of the number of prospects. Who certain GMs love and who they don’t may be something we don’t know until draft night.
