Tank Bigsby Scouting Report
Per NFL Draft Buzz, Bigsby has the following strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths
- A compact runner, Bigsby has a rare blend of balance, agility and instincts
- Shows a surprising burst to beat linebackers to the edge. Can plant his foot in the ground and explode, showing better straight-line speed than expected
- He’s patient, letting blocks develop then accelerating. He runs with a good forward lean and consistently falls forward
Weaknesses
- His hands are good, but Bigsby doesn’t show much feel as a route runner and might not be a guy you flex out wide
- Bigsby tends to get too upright at times, sacrificing power

Tank Bigsby in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Bigsby is a projected fourth-round pick. Running back is always an interesting position because teams do not value it highly outside of the top prospects. This leads to a lot of teams getting good value at the position in later rounds (see the Packers and Aaron Jones). Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Bigsby being taken.
- Seahawks Wire – Third round: Seahawks
- Pro Football Network – Third round: Saints
- Cat Crave – Third round: Panthers
Would Tank Bigsby Fit on the Packers?
We have to get this out of the way first. Tank Bigsby is an awesome name and I hope he becomes a Packer. Who cares if the fit is right or not? I want a Tank Bigsby jersey and to see Tank Bigsby running into the endzone. Give me a Tank Bigsby Lambeau leap. If we were drafting players simply on name, Bigsby would be a first-rounder.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
All jokes aside, Bigsby is a decent but not great fit with the Packers. AJ Dillon is more of the short yardage back and the Packers need a back that is an elite pass-catcher. Despite the cool name, I expect the Packers to target another prospect if they are looking at a running back.
