Nolan Smith in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Smith is a projected first-round pick. Most mock drafts have him in the back half of the first round somewhere between 16-32. He is considered the third-best linebacker prospect in the draft. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Smith going.

Would Nolan Smith Fit on the Packers?
I think GM Brian Gutekunst must think because Georgia has similar helmets to the Packers, they are a feeder for the Packers. His last three first-round picks have been from the Bulldogs. It is absolutely in play that Gutekunst would draft another player from Georgia in the back half of the first round. The question would be whether Gutekunst wants to continue to bolster the defense with first-round talent. There are already 7 first-round picks on the defense and drafting Smith would be another.

Even though it would be another first-round pick for the defense, Smith would absolutely be a good fit for the Packers. Outside of De’Vondre Campbell and Quay Walker, the Packers have little depth at the linebacker. Another outside linebacker to help in the run game would be great. The Packers also tend to run a lot of zone which is something Smith excels at.
