Myles Murphy in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Murphy is a consensus top 10 pick. While he is a bit raw of a prospect, he is still one of the premier edge rushers in the draft. Getting pressure on the quarterback is essential in this league. Teams are always looking for a player that can make a quarterback uncomfortable. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Murphy being drafted.
- Sports Illustrated – No. 4 overall: Cardinals
- USA Today – No. 5 overall: Seahawks
- Clutch Points – No. 6 overall: Lions
- Sportskeeda – No. 7 overall: Raiders
- SB Nation – No. 8 overall: Falcons
Would Myles Murphy Fit on the Packers?
The Packers need to find some more people to rush the passer. After Rashan Gary went down, the Packers’ pass rush lost its bite. While one person can make all of the difference, no pass rush should hinge on one singular person. While Murphy is raw, his skills would be really fun on the Packers. The question is, will he be there?
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
The lowest that I have seen Murphy in a mock draft is 10. With the Packers at no. 15, it is not out of the realm of possibility that he falls especially if other teams get trad happy to move up in the first round. The other thing that could scare some teams away would be how raw he is. Teams might prefer a more polished prospect. Despite all of this, the Packers will be very lucky if Murphy is there at 15.
