Habakkuk Baldonado Scouting Report
Per NFL Draft Buzz, Baldonado has the following strengths and weaknesses:
Strengths
- Possesses accurate snap anticipation and timing to beat blockers off the edge
- As a pass rusher, he shows quickness off the line and has the fluid athleticism and flexibility to bend the edge
- He has a high motor and does a solid job setting the edge against the run
- He has prototypical size, with a little more room on his frame to add weight
Weaknesses
- Baldonado has to develop a counter move or two in the pass rush, and Baldonado needs to make better use of his hands
- While he moves well laterally, he doesn’t always get there in pursuit

Habakkuk Baldonado in Mock Drafts

Look for a good value to come out of the edge position for this draft. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Baldonado being drafted.
- Windy City Gridiron – Fifth round: Bears
- NFL Mocks – Fifth round: Colts
- Just Blog Baby – Seventh round: Raiders
Would Habakkuk Baldonado Fit on the Packers?
The Packers need some edge depth and Baldonado seems to be a good fit for Green Bay. He has great size and has some room to grow in the NFL as well. Similar to what Kingsley Enagbare did this season, Baldonado would not have to come in a be the number one edge option. He could be a complementary piece while he develops.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
This feels like a fifth-round Brian Gutekunst pick. A solid player that slides to a later round and yet his experience means he is ready to start week 1. Love Baldonado as a day 3 pick for the Packers.
