Bryce Young in Mock Drafts
According to NFL Mock Draft Database, Young is a consensus top 5 pick. Very few mock drafts have him falling outside the top 5. It all depends on how a person feels about Young’s size. This is more of a concern for some than it is for others. Most mock drafts have him going no. 2 overall to the Texans. Below is a list of mock drafts and where they have Young being drafted.
- Sportskeeda – No. 1 overall: Bears
- USA Today – No. 2 overall: Texans
- SB Nation – No. 2 overall: Texans
- 33rd Team – No. 2 overall: Texans
- Sports Illustrated – No. 9 overall: Panthers
Would Bryce Young Fit on the Packers?
Evaluating Bryce Young on the Packers is a difficult task. In a vacuum, yes, Bryce Young is a great fit for the Packers. While some may critique his size, his accuracy and feel for the pocket would be a great fit in Green Bay. The fact is that the Packers will not be in a position to draft him. The Packers are not anywhere near the top 5 and even if he slips, I doubt he will leave the top 10.
Check Out Another Prospect That Could Fit For the Packers
Let’s play the hypothetical here. If he pulls an Aaron Rodgers and slips to no. 15, should the Packers take him? I would say yes. Flip Jordan Love and start over with the top QB prospect in the 2023 class? Yes please. Again, I highly doubt this happens but it is a fun game to play of what ifs.
