Milwaukee Bucks fan-favorite Pat Connaughton has tested positive for the corona virus that brought the sports world to a screeching halt. He is not with the team in Orlando. Earlier reports state that the Bucks had shut down their practice facility in Milwaukee due to positive tests among the traveling party. Starting guard Eric Bledsoe also tested positive and is not in Orlando.

Connaughton, known for his athleticism and high-flying dunks, is averaging 5.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game off the bench. He has gained a reputation around the league as one of the NBA’s best dunkers. He was even invited to participate in the Slam Dunk competition during All-Star weekend.

Despite the positive test, Connaughton remains optimistic that he will be able to join the Bucks in Orlando before too long. He reports that he feels well and will follow the NBA’s protocols in order to enter the bubble as soon as possible.
