Pat Connaughton not only had a season-high 19 points in the Bucks win over Denver on Wednesday night, but he also made five three-pointers extending his streak of games with multiple threes to nine games.

Connaughton made five-of-six three-pointers in the game, the second time this season he has made five threes in a game. Over his current nine-game streak of multiple threes made, Connaughton made 21 threes.

The nine-game streak of multiple threes is the longest streak for the Bucks this season. Earlier this year Jrue Holiday had made two or more threes in seven straight games. If Connaughton can make two or more threes in the Bucks’ next game on Friday against Indiana, he would be the sixth player in Bucks history to have a 10-game streak of multiple threes made.

A 10-game streak of two or more threes made has been done 12 times by five different Bucks’ players. Khris Middleton holds the Bucks’ record for most consecutive games with multiple threes made with 25. Here is a look at the longest streaks in Bucks’ history for multiple threes made in a game.

Longest game streak of multiple threes by Bucks players

    25-Khris Middleton
    17-Ray Allen
    15-Khris Middleton
    14-Grayson Allen, Eric Bledsoe
    13-Ray Allen
    12-Khris Middleton, Ray Allen (twice)
    11-Ray Allen, Todd Day
    10-Khris Middleton

Middleton set the team record in games from January 16, 2020, to August 8, 2020, in the 2019-2020 NBA season.

Steph Curry dominates in longest streak of multiple three-pointer games

The NBA record for most consecutive games with two or more three-pointers made is 53 games by Steph Curry. He also has the second longest streak with 50 consecutive games. Paul George is the only other player who had a streak of 40 games or more with multiple threes made.

Connaughton’s nine-game streak with multiple threes is the sixth longest active streak in the league. Steph Curry has an active 33-game streak with multiple threes made in a game, followed by Anfernee Simons (Portland) and Jayson Tatum (Boston) with 11-game streaks and Damian Lillard (Portland) and Norman Powell (LA Clippers) with 10-game streaks.
