The Green Bay Packers were nowhere near the Super Bowl LIX but Xavier McKinney did find himself – during the Kendrick Lamar’s half time show.

The Philadelphia Eagles prevented the Kansas City Chiefs from getting a three-peat through a total domination but before the final whistle was blown, it was KDot who dominated televisions and social media conversations.

McKinney was among those who were left in awe by Lamar’s stage production, songs, and courages move to diss Drake . His reaction is not all about entertainment though.

The Green Bay Packer safety thought there was a deeper message in the performance which also saw the rapper dealt with issues that hound the country today.

“To keep trying to tell us how it’s supposed to be done or what it looks like or what it’s supposed to sound like…. We (black people) created this . Remember that . Thank you for for keeping it about the culture , the black and brown chilrens growing up need it . #Salute #DOT,” the 2024 Pro Bowl honoree wrote on X.

What was Xavier McKinney talking about?

There are a lot of reaction on how Kdot is just a generational hater for even mentioning Drake while on the stage, pairing it with a sly grin.

Others are focused on the social and political message.

McKinney on his post is talking about the dialogue made by special guest and renowned black actor Samuel L. Jackson.

“Too loud, too reckless, too ghetto. Mr. Lamar, do you really know how to play the game?” Jackson said in the middle of the performance.

That is him alluding to many people saying there’s a certain way people should behave. Lamar did not shy away from that message by having Serena Williams who was once criticized for doing creep walk during a a tennis game, getting told that it was improper.

Is Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show good or not? What do you think?
