The Green Bay Packers will be the next team to test the red-hot Chicago Bears, who entered Week 14 of the 2025 NFL regular season on a five-game winning streak.
About to face Green Bay at Lambeau Field this Sunday, the Bears are also coming off a huge statement victory in Week 13, when they took down the reigning Super Bowl champions Philadelphia Eagles to the tune of a 24-15 score in the City of Brotherly Love.
That victory has been used by Chicago supporters to silence those who have been diminishing the value of the Bears’ previous victories. In the past four games before the encounter with the Eagles, Chicago didn’t really beat a team that was widely and legitimately considered a true Super Bowl contender, victimizing the New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings, Cincinnati Bengals (without Joe Burrow) and Pittsburgh Steelers (without Aaron Rodgers).
For Packers safety Xavier McKinney, Chicago’s takedown of the Eagles only further solidified the Bears as a true threat to any team in the league.
“It shows that they’re a serious team,” McKinney said of Chicago’s win against the Eagles (h/t Mike Spofford of Green Bay’s official website) . “It shows that they’re not messing around. They’re trying to do exactly what we’re trying to do.”
Can the Packers slow down Chicago, particularly on the ground in Week 14?

Against the Eagles, Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams went 17-of-36 for 154 passing yards and a touchdown with an interception, but it was the Bears’ rushing attack that did the most damage offensively, with running backs Kyle Monangai and D’Andre Swift combining for 155 rushing yards and two touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Chicago held Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ attack to just 3-of-12 on third downs while forcing Philly to lose possession of the ball twice.
The Bears’ ground game could be the ultimate litmus test for Green Bay’s defense, which is eighth in the NFL with 98.3 rushing yards allowed per game.
