When the Green Bay Packers signed Devin Funchess last season, he was expected to provide some much needed depth at wide receiver. However, after his family was affected by the coronavirus, he decided to opt out of the 2020 season. This year, he took a pay cut to assist the Packers in freeing up cap space and is expected to compete for a roster spot. In addition, Funchess has recently set a new world.

A few days ago, Devin Funchess set a world record by catching a football dropped from 750 feet up by a helicopter.

The feat was shared on July 15. Funchess accomplished the feat at Mile High Stadium in Denver, Colorado. What makes the feat even more impressive is that he did while wearing flip flops.
Devin Funchess Before Green Bay
Prior to coming to Green Bay, Devin Funchess played for the Carolina Panthers and Indianapolis Colts. His best season was his third season in the NFL in 2017. Then with the Panthers, Funchess had 63 receptions for 840 yards. He also had a career-high eight touchdown receptions.
Unfortunately for Funchess, he only played in one game with Indianapolis in 2019. He suffered a clavicle injury in Week One against the Los Angeles Chargers. Even though the Colts hoped he would be able to return from Injured Reserve, the injury never fully healed in time.
