The NFL and College Football season may be over, but the XFL is about to begin.  For those who can’t get enough football in their lives, the XFL season will begin on February 19th, 2023.  It will feature many ex-Green Bay Packers as well.  Former Packers quarterback Brett Hundley will be out west playing for the Las Vegas Vipers.  Hundley spent many years in the NFL with a variety of teams. It was a surprise to many that he decided to sign with the Vegas Vipers. He is projected to be the starter once the teams kick off in mid-February. Hundley spent three years with the Packers from 2015-2017 and put up decent stats for a backup quarterback to Aaron Rodgers. Now he looks to make a name for himself as the Vipers starting quarterback.  However, he isn’t the only former Packers player that will be playing for the Vegas Vipers.  Former Packers wide receiver Geronimo Allison will be his teammate.

Geronimo Allison has officially signed with the Las Vegas Vipers in the XFL.  Allison played in 46 games for the Green Bay Packers, accumulating nearly 90 receptions and just over 1000 yards. He is best remembered for his clutch catch against the Cincinnati Bengals on September 24, 2017. It was a 72-yard reception in overtime that set up Mason Crosby‘s game-winning field goal.  Allison spent the 2021 season with the Detroit Lions, however he only ended up playing in three games due to injury.  The XFL will be a fresh start for the veteran wide receiver and he will have a familiar face throwing him the football.
