The Green Bay Packers are currently 2-0 and hold the top ranked scoring offense in the NFL! The road gets more daunting as the Pack now travel to New Orleans to take on Drew Brees and the Saints. Here are the players you should consider to have in your lineup this week:
Aaron Jones Runs All Over New Orleans
The Packers starting running back logged an amazing 46.5 fantasy points in week 2. Jones is poised to have another solid week against a Saints defense that did keep Josh Jacobs in check. Nonetheless, Jones’ skillset is a matchup nightmare for the New Orleans defense. I like the idea that if Jones is struggling to run the football Sunday night, his points will come from the air.
Marquez Valdes-Scantling Stuns the Saints
Now, this could go both ways seeing as how we are unsure if Davante Adams will be ready to go for Sunday Night. If it comes down to where he is not active, it is next man up for the Pack. So far, we have seen that Aaron Rodgers is clearly working with MVS to boost his confidence by giving him his targets. From a fantasy point perspective, it makes more sense to put MVS in your lineup over Lazard given the fact that MVS had the down field capability over Lazard. Though Adams’ status is still in the air, but nonetheless, it never hurts to be prepared to make this move.
Jace Sternberger Time!
Darren Waller absolutely torched the New Orleans Saints defense this past Monday night. I have a hunch that Sternberger could have his ‘coming-out’ party, especially if Davante Adams is not ready to go. We have not seen a lot of tight end contributions this season, but, that could change in an instant. Packer fans have been waiting for the emergence of Sternberger this week, and there is a possibility we may not have to wait much longer!
