The Packers picked up their 100th win against the Chicago Bears Sunday night, 41-25, to improve to 8-3. Green Bay now has a three-game lead in the NFC North. The Packers played some of their best football last night and have scored 72 points in the last two games against two very good defenses.
The Defense Shows Up
How about that Green Bay Packers defense last night. They had three turnovers, a defensive touchdown, and Preston Smith showed up last night. How about the Green Bay Packers secondary and more specifically Darnell Savage with two interceptions last night. The Packers defense overall showed up in a big way last night and was a big reason for the win last night.
The Offense Goes Off Again
Coming off a 31 point performance last week the Packers followed up and dropped 41 points against the Chicago Bears. Aaron Rodgers had four touchdowns while Jones and Willams combined for 163 rushing yards. The offense looked great again and they will look to keep this going throughout the rest of the season..
What’s Next
The Packers will look to build on this 41-25 win last night as they play the Eagles next week at 3:25 CT on CBS. If the offense and defense play like they did last night it will be very hard to beat this team.
