Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers are at a crossroads entering the 2023 NFL offseason. Right now, it appears that there is a very high likelihood that the superstar quarterback could be on his way out of town. That decision has yet to be made, but the Las Vegas Raiders are the new hot trade destination that everyone is talking about for Rodgers.
Over the past few days, superstar wide receiver Davante Adams has been very vocal about his desire for the Raiders to trade for Rodgers. He has been vocal on Twitter and Rodgers has even been commenting jokingly back to Adams about a potential trade.
Another team that has been heavily connected to a Rodgers has been the New York Jets. Many believe that the Jets will put together an aggressive trade offer for the Packers. It seems like the Jets and Raiders could get into a bidding war.
A New Mock Draft Has Aaron Rodgers Going To The Raiders
In a new mock draft from FanSided, the Packers made a massive trade with the Raiders involving Aaron Rodgers. It’s obviously just a mock draft, but it’s intriguing to look at these mocks nonetheless.
They have the Packers trading Rodgers to the Raiders in exchange for the No. 7 overall pick and the No. 38 overall pick.
Aaron Rodgers goes from one historic franchise to another, reuniting with Davante Adams in Las Vegas. Green Bay adds picks in the first and second rounds, including the seventh overall selection.
For the Packers, this move would make a ton of sense. Moving on from Aaron Rodgers would be a very difficult decision, but adding two picks this year would be valuable to build around Jordan Love. The No. 7 pick alone could net them a big-time young talent or allow them to trade back for extra draft capital both now and in the future.
On the other side of the trade, the Raiders would be getting their franchise quarterback. Reuniting Rodgers with Adams would be a big step towards getting Las Vegas into Super Bowl contention. It also could spur Rodgers to play a few more years as well.

Granted, this trade may never even be on the table. The Raiders may not be willing to offer the No. 7 pick for an aging quarterback. However, a talent and longtime superstar like Rodgers doesn’t become available very often, so making a move won’t come cheap and would still be of interest.
Expect to continue hearing a ton of Aaron Rodgers rumors over the next couple of weeks. Rodgers still has to make his own decision, but for now it seems very likely he will play elsewhere in 2023. The Raiders make the most sense as a potential landing spot right now.
