As the season approaches many will start to post predictions on who the stars for the Packers will be in 2020. We are starting a series where the viewers will get a chance to share their opinion. The Packers are loaded with talent so we will be conducting a fan vote to see who you think the top ten players on The Pack are. Today we will list out options and at the end you will be able to vote for who belongs in the number one slot.
Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers has been the staple of the Packers team for well over a decade and is undisputed as one of the best to ever lace up. Last season Rodgers had 4,002 passing yards and 26 touchdown passes. Rodgers’ numbers were lower than expected, but it was the first year in a new offense. Going into the second year with coach LaFluer, Rodgers looks to lead The Packers to the Super Bowl.
Davante Adams

Arguably the best route runner in the NFL, Davante Adams has put himself in the conversation as a top five wide receiver in the league. Adams is clearly the best wide out on the Packers, and fell three yards short of 1,000 last season. However, he did miss four games. Adams will look to be dominant and find himself as a pro bowler yet again.
Aaron Jones

Under Mike McCarthy, Aaron Jones never got to be the feature back. Under LaFluer, it was clear who the Packers number one option was. In 2019, Jones was tied for the lead in total touchdowns across the entire league. Aaron Jones eclipsed the 1,000 yard mark in his first year as the lead back. He still shared time with Jamal Williams, but it was very clear who was carrying the load. Jones will look to help lead the Pack to the Super Bowl in a contract year for himself.
Kenny Clark

Kenny Clark might be the most disrespected player in the NFL. He is a top three defensive tackle and is still under his rookie contract. Clark is a dominant force on the defensive line and is only getting better. It seems like the more load the Packers put on him the better he gets. He was a pro bowler in 2019, and has the potential to be an all pro.
Za’Darius Smith

In his very first year with the Packers, Za’Darius Smith was one of the best edge rushers in the NFL. He led the league in pressures and had 13.5 sacks. Clearly, Smith looks to be on his way to being a leader of a dominant defense in 2020. Going into his second year as a Packer, it can only be assumed that Smith will get better with more familiarity with the defense.
David Bakhtiari

Arguably the best left tackle in football, David Bakhtiari is going into a contract year, and it will be hard to justify not resigning him. Bakhtiari was great again in 2019, as he has been his whole career. He is a fan favorite and a consistent force. The all pro will look to continue dominance in 2020 for the Packers.
Jaire Alexander

When the Packers drafted Jaire Alexander, many expected a great young corner. However, Alexander has surpassed expectations. He has become one of the best young players in the league and looks to be on his way to becoming an all pro. Jaire has become a leader in the secondary and will be even better in 2020.
Elgton Jenkins

As a rookie, Elgton Jenkins made an argument for himself to be an all pro. The young star from Mississippi State has solidified himself as a starter for the Packers for years to come. He did not allow a single sack in his rookie season. He looks to be a huge part of the offense, as it looks to be more run oriented. Ultimately, Jenkins was a huge part of Jones’ 15 rushing touchdowns.
Preston Smith

Another free agency signing from 2019 for the Packers, Preston Smith came in and had a great season. Paired with Za’Darius Smith, they were the best pass rush duo in the league. Smith had 12 sacks in his first year as a Packer. However, he looks to be even better in 2020 after the team fell just short of the super bowl.
Kevin King

After being plagued with injuries and inconsistencies, Kevin King has finally broken out. Last season, he had five interceptions and 15 passes defended. King and Alexander were a great tandem for a Packers secondary, which has struggled in the past. King goes into a contract year with lots to prove. If he can stay healthy and consistent, he should have no problem earning that new contract in 2020.
