The Packers worked out an All-Big 12 offensive tackle
The Green Bay Packers need help on the offensive line. The Packers, who boast one of the best backfields in the NFL, are graded as 25th in run blocking this season by Pro Football Focus. The Packers’ woes in pass protection have been well-documented this season. The issues on the offensive line will be highlighted as the Packers’ wide receiver corps gets healthier and improves their game. One All-Big 12 offensive tackle had a workout with the Packers this week as the team took a serious look at the unit.
According to Aaron Wilson of KPRC, the Packers worked out four offensive linemen this week. Three were offensive tackles: Sage Doxater, Derek Kerstetter, and Sam Schlueter. Center Chris Owens worked out with the team as well. The Packers worked out two wide receivers this week as well.

Kerstetter was an All-Big 12 offensive tackle in college. He played for Texas and was a senior during the 2021 season. Kerstetter was a five-year player at Texas. He started 49 games for the Longhorns. It appears to be seen if the Packers will take a chance on Kerstetter by adding him to the practice squad.
However, the problems with the offensive line are certainly on the radar for the Packers. They will have another tough test against Philadelphia Eagles pass rush this week.
