Packers Star Posts Tweet Accusing Green Bay Restaurant of Racism

The Green Bay Packers have long been on the forefront of social justice, civil rights, and inclusion. Vince Lombardi was one of the first coaches to demand the African American players receive the same treatment as others. He also stood up for and defended players who were homosexual. Unfortunately, the “fans” in and around Green Bay have not always lived up to the standard set by the legendary head coach. The most recent sad example of that can be found on star offensive lineman Elgton Jenkins’ Twitter account.

Elgton Jenkins Experienced Blatant Racism at Green Bay Establishment

According to Elgton Jenkins, he had heard good reviews about a Mexican restaurant called Vintage Cantina. Unfortunately, his experience was far from enjoyable.

Heard good reviews about Vintage Cantina just to find out the man behind the bar is racist 👎🏾🗑

Righteously my first time blatantly experiencing that bs

This Is Not the First Time a Packers Player Has Been the Target of Racism in Recent Years

There are, unfortunately, degenerate human beings in every fan base that give the rest of the fans a bad name. This is most true of racist fans who can turn athletes off to entire cities. For example, Torii Hunter, formerly of Major League Baseball, stated that he never considered signing with the Boston Red Sox due to the racism he experienced there as a visiting player.

In recent years, a couple of Green Bay Packers players have come forward with stories of receiving racist messages and threats from fans. Martellus Bennett claimed that the racism in Green Bay was so bad, the team’s head of security was afraid for him. Marquez Valdes-Scantling, now with the Kansas City Chiefs, received racist messages and death threats after a bad game in 2020.

The number of Packers fans commenting on Jenkins’ Tweet, in support of him, show that not every fan is like this bartender or the fans who targeted Bennett and MVS. However, there are far too many of them. Even one is too many.

In group preference is normal and natural and is practiced by every living creature on Earth except parasites. When you call that normal and natural state of being it is because you have an agenda
