The Green Bay Packers have been home to some of the greatest players to ever wear an NFL uniform. Their 33 hall of famers ranks second in NFL history. They also have 28 members in the Packers’ hall of fame who are also in Canton.
That being said, one former player who will have a shot at one team’s ring of honor, officially announced his retirement today.

The official announcement has been made. It’s the day we’ve all known was coming since December – most likely since January last year. Micah Hyde has officially retired from professional football:

Hyde retires as a Buffalo Bill. During his 12 seasons in the NFL, including four with the Green Bay Packers, Hyde intercepted 24 passes, recovered five fumbles, scored five touchdowns (three punt returns, one kickoff return, and one pick-six). In addition to playing 8,364 defensive snaps, Hyde also played 1,304 special teams snaps.
