The Green Bay Packers went 13-3 last season which was second in the NFC. They did make the NFC Championship game and are looking to build on last years success. Three players caught attention of many fans and could have big season in 2020.
Allen Lazard toward the end of last season showed he had some potential. Last year when the Packers played the Lions on Monday Night Football, Lazard was a big reason they came back and won that game. Aaron Rodgers showed trust in Lazard later in the season. Even telling Packers offensive coaches he should get more playing time. If Lazard keeps showing potential like last year he could turn into the Packers legitimate number two wide receiver. The Packers wide out could put up big number this season.
Kevin King last season didn’t spend as much time on the injury report as he did in the past and his play showed. King was clearly the Packers second best corner alongside Jaire Alexander last season. He lead the Packers in interceptions with 5 on the year. If king continues to develop the Packers would have two very talented young cornerbacks. King’s play could also give a boost to an already good young defense.
Savage had a very good rookie season and worked well with strong safety Adrian Amos. Even though he only put up 2 interceptions and 55 tackles he’s a young player with high potential. Many NFL analysts believe Darnell Savage could have a breakout season in Green Bay. The roster is full of young players and talent and savage is one of those guys.
