The Chicago Bears made lots of noise in the 2025 NFL season. Apart from beating the Green Bay Packers twice and eliminating Jordan Love and company in a thrilling NFC Wild Card Round matchup at Soldier Field in Chicago, the Bears also won the NFC North, which went against what many expected before the 2025 NFL campaign.
Now that the Bears are eliminated, fans have started to beg the team’s front office to make big moves in the offseason in order to sustain Chicago’s momentum, with the end goal of winning a Super Bowl in the 2026 campaign.
Can the Bears pull off a Micah Parsons-Packers type of trade in the offseason?
One name being linked to the Bears is Las Vegas Raiders superstar pass rusher Maxx Crosby, who can’t be very happy with how things have gone for the AFC West franchise.
“I don’t know,” Chicago general manager Ryan Poles said recently when asked about Crosby being a possible trade target in the offseason by the Bears.
Kevin Fishbain of The Athletic isn’t also expecting Chicago to pull off a stunning trade for the five-time Pro Bowler Crosby, but didn’t dismiss the idea entirely.
“There’s so many things that need to happen to make it work. So I’m not giving you a great answer, but to quote the philosopher Kevin Garnett, anything is possible,” Fishbain stated during a recent appearance on 670 The Score.
The Packers got an elite pass rusher prior to the 2025 campaign when the shocked the football world with their acquisition of defensive end Micah Parsons via a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, but can the Bears make their own trade stunner involving a pass rusher?
