There are still some things unknown regarding the injury suffered by Green Bay Packers superstar edge rusher Micah Parsons during Sunday’s 34-26 loss on the road to the Denver Broncos. Parsons left the game in the second half with a non-contact left knee injury and the fear is that he tore his ACL.
If it were indeed an ACL tear, that would mean Parsons is done for the rest of the 2025 NFL season — a huge blow not just to Green Bay’s stop unit, but to the entire team and its ambition to win a Super Bowl.
After the game, Parsons’ Green Bay teammate and defensive end Rashan Gary spoke about the former Penn State Nittany Lions star’s injury.
“I told him to keep his head up and we’re gonna finish strong for him,” Gary said (via Wes Hodkiewicz of Green Bay’s official website).
“That’s what I told him. I’m gonna keep in contact with him throughout what he’s doing. That was my first message to him. It hurt. It hurt.”
Packers have to be ready for life without Parsons for the rest of the 2025 season
The Broncos game was viewed as a big test for Green Bay, as Denver entered Week 15 on a 10-game winning streak and the best record in the entire NFL.
The Packers, however, did not just lose to Bo Nix and company but also might have lost two of their top players to injuries, as wide receiver Christian Watson left the game with a chest injury.

With Parsons looking like he’s done for the rest of the campaign, Gary and the others on defense will have to step up and keep Green Bay competitive on that side of the field going forward.
