The Denver Broncos got the last laugh over the Green Bay Packers in a marquee matchup in Mile High City on Sunday. Bo Nix and company edged the visiting Green Bay squad via a 34-26 score.

It was a big win for Denver, to say the least. And that win must taste even sweeter for the Broncos because of what Green Bay did before the game, as told by Denver defensive end John Franklin-Myers.

“I mean, they were just kind of walking through the doors,” Franklin-Myers said after the contest,” per Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports.

“They were all in our business and stuff as we’re trying to warm up. And it’s just, we don’t do that to nobody and nobody else in the league does that. And maybe it was on accident, who knows? But yeah, it’s just not right. Yeah.”

Packers fail to slow down Nix in loss to Denver

Perhaps Green Bay was just trying to mess up with Denver to throw the Broncos off their focus, but if that was the intention, it ultimately did not work.

Nix threw for a total of 302 passing yards and four touchdowns with zero interceptions and no sacks taken, while going 23/34 on his passes. It was a game to remember for Nix, who further established himself as among the best young signal-callers in the NFL.

Meanwhile, it wasn’t as good of a day for Jordan Love, as Green Bay’s quarterback went 24/40 for 276 passing yards and a touchdown against two interceptions, while getting sacked three times for a loss of 29 yards.
