Position Grade: A
The group got a new addition this offseason in Jordan Love. The first round pick clearly raised some eyebrows but it gave the Packers a viable backup heading into the 2020 season in case number twelve gets hurt.
QB1: Aaron Rodgers

After a great 2019 campaign the Packers fell one game short of Super Bowl 54. In his first year in Matt LaFluer’s offense Rodgers led the team to 13 regular season wins while putting up some impressive numbers in the regular season.
- 4,002 Yards
- 26 Touchdowns
- 4 Interceptions
- 62.04% Completion Percentage
- 95.4 Passer Rating
Going into next season expect even better numbers from Rodgers now that he has more familiarity with the offense. Rodgers is poised for a MVP caliber season as he looks for his second championship. Aaron Rodgers is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league and will continue his elite play into next season.
Jordan Love
The Packers drafted a quarterback in the first round and has led many to speculate about the future in Green Bay. However, for the time being, Jordan Love will play the role as Aaron Rodgers back up. In his collegiate career Love had:
- 8,600 Passing Yards
- 60 Touchdowns
- 137.9 Rating
- 403 Rushing Yards
- 9 Rushing Touchdowns
Love needs to develop, but the first round talent will get a chance to learn from the great Aaron Rodgers. Love will most likely earn the back up role from Tim Boyle heading into 2020. Expect the Packers to take two quarterbacks on the active roster next season. The young quarterback probably won’t see the field next season, but when given the chance he has the talent to shine.
