MOBILE, Ala. — If general manager Brian Gutekunst and the Packers are looking to continue dropping young talent into quarterback Jordan Love’s receiving corps, one of the early standouts from this year’s Senior Bowl could emerge as a top target in this spring’s NFL Draft.

Tuesday, Illinois wide receiver Pat Bryant III turned heads when he made a stellar one-handed catch deep along the sideline against Virginia Tech cornerback Dorian Strong, after overcoming an early drop in practice.
Throughout Tuesday’s session, Bryant’s body control was on display, as well as his ability to create separation as he emerged as one of the rising stars early in the week.
It became evident pretty quickly on Tuesday that Bryant’s 6-foot-3 frame is going to be an asset, but his hands and route-running are what give him the chance to thrive against top NFL defensive backs.
“Bryant thrives when the football is in flight due to his ball skills and body control,” the Bleacher Report Scouting Department writes. “Acrobatic catches are common for him on the sideline. Bryant flashes late hands as the ball approaches and his defender is in tight coverage. He does a good job on back shoulder fades to decelerate and create late separation from his defender.”
