The Green Bay Packers have announced 13 additions to their roster to unofficially kick-off their 2023 off-season.
“The Green Bay Packers signed TE Austin Allen, WR Jeff Cotton, T Jean Delance (JEEN duh-LANTS), QB Danny Etling, CB Tyrell Ford, CB Benjie Franklin, RB Tyler Goodson, TE Nick Guggemos (GOOG-uh-mohs), LB La’Darius Hamilton, DL Chris Slayton, CB Kiondre Thomas (kee-ON-dray), K Parker White and S James Wiggins. General Manager Brian Gutekunst announced the transactions Tuesday,” the club officially announced.

Packers Announce 13 Free Agent Signings
- Danny Etling (Quarterback): LSU, 28 years old, 6’3, 220 pounds
- Tyler Goodson (Running Back): Iowa, 22 years old, 5’9, 197 pounds
- Jeff Cotton (Wide Receiver): Idaho, 25 years old, 6’2, 206 pounds
- Austin Allen (Tight End): Nebraska, 24 years old, 6’8, 253 pounds
- Nico Guggemos (Tight End): St. Thomas, 27 years old, 6’5, 247 pounds
- Jean Delance (Offensive Tackle): Florida, 24 years old, 6’4, 303 pounds
- Chris Slayton (Defensive End): Syracuse, 26 years old, 6’4, 307 pounds
- La’Darius Hamilton (Linebacker): North Texas, 24 years old, 6’2, 261 pounds
- Benjie Franklin (Cornerback): Tarleton State, 25 years old, 6’0, 205 pounds
- Kiondre Thomas (Cornerback): Kansas State, 24 years old, 6’0, 185 pounds
- Tyrell Ford (Cornerback): Waterloo (Canada), 24 years old, 5’11, 194 pounds
- James Wiggins (Safety): Cincinnati, 25 years old, 5’11, 209 pounds
- Parker White (Kicker): South Carolina, 25 years old, 6’5, 205 pounds
10 of the 13 signings (excluding Ford, Wiggins, and White) spent some time on the Packers’ practice squad at some point during the 2022-23 season.
While the signings were announced as a grouping, earlier, today by the club, the team announced the signing of Tyrell Ford, earlier this afternoon. Ford was most recently with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
