Jordan Love naturally gets compared to Aaron Rodgers for the latter’s accomplishments when he was still the Green Bay Packers’ main quarterback.

Love waited for his turn for three seasons as A-Rod’s back up but now, he is embracing the spotlight. He has a fair share of accomplishment as the team’s respectable and reliable QB but comparison sometimes gets those achievements dwarfed.
Good thing for Love, a 26th pick of 2020, he does not mind the comparison. In fact, he and Rodgers have a great student-mentor relationship.
“We have a great relationship,” Love said in an interview with Wisconsin basketball favorite Thanasis, brother of Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.
“Obviously, I shared a quarterback room with him, and when you are in the room together, you’re there every day and for multiple hours a day. You build a relationship with everyone in that room.”

“The media is always going to compare everybody. The comparisons … that is always going to happen. I don’t focus on that stuff, but me and Aaron definitely got a good relationship.”
Difference between Jordan Love and A-Rod
A-Rod became successful despite the odds. This includes not having a good wide receiver through the draft.
Love’s term is different now. The front office is definitely setting him up for greatness. He acknowledged that the FO is working to build a team.
“They’re the pros at this, at going through the draft process, interviewing all these guys, and figuring out who is going to be a good player/fit,” he said at the Kay Adams show.

Packers drafted a wide receiver in Matthew Golden in the first round two weeks ago, the first time since 2002 that they did that.
They finished in the Wildcard round last season and Jordan Love is and must reach greater heights now.
