It is going to be the master versus the apprentice on Week 8 of the NFL 2025 season when Jordan Love’s Green Bay Packers visit the Pittsburgh Steelers.

A-Rod ended the months-long speculation about his supposed signing with the Steelers as he visited the team’s facility on Friday to ink a one-year deal worth $13 million. This makes Pittsburgh his second team in three years after a forgettable two-year stint with the New York Jets.

The four-time MVP has been three seasons remove from being a Packer but the admiration from his former prodigy remains.

Love said he is excited about facing Rodgers on the gridiron.

“It’s going to be fun,” he said during an interview with Channel 3000’s Jason Wilde.

“It’s going to be awesome. I’m excited for it.”

“I can’t wait to be on different sides, meeting up, and I know we’ll talk pregame, things like that. And, hopefully, we can exchange jerseys after.”

Jordan Love, Aaron Rodgers are set to make history on huge night

The jury’s still not out about who will win on match up between the Packers and Steelers on Week 8 although the latter’s legend Ben Roethlisberger thinks it is for his former team to take with the presence of Rodgers.

It is going to be a huge night for fans of both teams and expect the two quarterbacks to be extra motivated as they could make history on that night.

As picked up by Wisports Heroics’ Robin M Adams, Aaron Rodgers will get the chance to join an elite group of players who beat all NFL teams in their career. This group has Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, Drew Brees, and Brett Favre so far.

As for Love, he could achieve a rare feat.

“Jordan Love will be trying to do something that neither Rodgers nor Favre were able to accomplish as Packers quarterbacks: win in Pittsburgh.”
