Strong opinions have been made about Green Bay Packers legend Aaron Rodgers possibly playing for NFC rivals Minnesota Vikings. Current Lambeau Field QB1 Jordan Love has one, too.

The Packers legend is currently without a team after his two-season stint with the New York Jets. He is a free agent with several teams being rumored to have interest in him or him having an interest in them.
Vikings is one team that will create a lot of buzz if ever he joins it since they are Green Bay’s rivals.
Minnesota vs Green Bay will be a marquee match up if ever that happens. It will become the teacher versus the student.
Love, who took over the reigns from Rodgers in 2022-2023 season, would love that to happen.
“We’ll have to see. I mean, who knows what team he’s gonna end up on right now,” Love said in an interview with Kay Adams.

“I would definitely love to play A-Rod. … That would be cool, you know obviously, started my career with him being a backup to now playing against him, that would definitely be a pretty cool experience.
“We’ll see where he ends up, I know there’s a lot of question marks around that.”
Jordan Love is right about the question mark
Love’s dream of playing against his ‘master’ might just remain a dream as latest report on Rodgers’ next destination suggests he’s nowhere near signing with the Vikings.
“Aaron Rodgers says it is not accurate that he is waiting to see if the Vikings want to sign him later this offseason,” NFL reporter and Kevin Seifert of ESPN wrote on social media app X.
“Says he has known Kevin O’Connell since they worked out together in San Diego 17-18 years ago. Says he is focused on issues in his personal life right now.”

Retirement is an option for the four-time MVP, too.
And in case he returns to gridiron, he was reportedly adamant that he will only sign with the team that has a chance to contend for the Super Bowl.
