The Green Bay Packers may not be in the playoffs, but one of their former players is headed to the Super Bowl. Wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (MVS) had the best game of his career at the exact moment he needed to. The Packers’ former fifth-round draft pick had six receptions for 116 yards and a touchdown in the Kansas City Chiefs’ 23-20 win in the AFC Championship game.

There is a vocal portion of Packers fans that always criticized MVS for drop issues. One has to conclude that some people just are angry and miserable for the sake of being angry and miserable. While he did struggle with drops in 2020, MVS had exactly zero drops for the Packers in 2021.
Despite a rough 2020 season, MVS came up big for the Packers in the playoffs. In the NFC Championship Game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, which Green Bay lost, MVS had four receptions for 115 yards and a touchdown.
