The Green Bay Packers have decided to part ways with defensive line coach Jason Rebrovich amid criticisms from fans and critics that the team’s pass rush have gone inconsistent this season.
The firing came after the team’s exit from the 2024-25 playoffs at the hands of the Philadelphia Eagles.
The team surrendered 10 quick points in the first quarter of that encounter and were forced to play catch up up the rest of the way before settling for a 10-22 loss.
He came to Green Bay in 2022 as outside linebackers coach then transitioned into a pass rush specialist the next year. He was then assigned a defensive line in 2023 and worked under Jeff Hafley who was also promoted into a defensive coordinator.
The Packers did not take time to look for a replacement for Rebrovich.

Jason Rebrovich is the problem not the players?
Defensive tackle Kenny Clark, defensive end Rashan Gary, and defensive end Lukas Van Ness all underperformed based in their own standards.
General manager Brian Gutekunst suggests their performance is not entirely on them.
The GM had a comprehensive statement to discuss the state of the team ahead of the 2025 season.
Among the urgent things he mentioned was the defensive line which he said will only get better.
“Sometimes that’s just the way the NFL season goes,” he said. “I think there was some transition to a new scheme, but I think we didn’t grow into that consistent front like we had hoped, but there were times that we showed it, so I know it’s capable.
“I think we’ve got the right guys. They’re workers in there, I think they’re all passionate about the game, they’re unselfish team guys so I expect us to get better there.”
