The Green Bay Packers’ social media team continues to be busy despite the team being axed from the NFL playoffs by the Chicago Bears in the NFC Wild Card Round.
Recently, Green Bay shared a wholesome post showing before-and-after photos of star pass rusher Micah Parsons and defensive back Keisean Nixon.
Packers defenders get mixed reactions from fans after team’s throwback post
The post has drawn a ton of reactions from fans online, with many praising Parsons and others taking shots at Nixon.
“Micah come back stronger man 😢❤️,” said a fan on X.
Another one said: “All Micah did was grow up, that facial expression we’ve seen before😂👏🏻”
From a commenter: “No one cares about Keisan”
“Micah and Keisean in the same post 🥀🥀🥀,” a social media user posted.
Via a different commenter: “The PACKER’S KING MICAH PARSONS ❣️ 👑❣️.”
Said another: “Can Nixon ‘then’ an ‘now’ be when he was a packer and then him being cut.”
Although Parsons was not able to finish his first campaign with Green Bay healthy due to a serious knee injury he suffered late in the 2025 NFL regular season against the Denver Broncos, he still had an incredible first year with the Packers. In fact, he earned a Pro Bowl nod for the 2025 campaign. Nixon was also named a Pro Bowl, but many don’t feel he deserved it, henche the negative reactions against him.
In the 2025 campaign, Parsons, acquired by the Packers from a trade with the Dallas Cowboys, recorded 12.5 sacks om 14 games. Nixon, on the other hand, had an interception and 17 passes defended with a fumble recovery and 72 total tackles in 17 games.
