Packers’ Micah Parsons blatantly tries to recruit George Pickens to Green Bay

The Green Bay Packers are coming off a disappointing 2025 NFL campaign. Many viewed them as the top team to beat last season, especially after they sent shockwaves across the league by acquiring superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons via a trade with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Packers sent veteran defensive tackle Kenny Clark and a couple of future picks to Arlington in exchange for the former Penn State Nittany Lions star.

With Parsons going to Green Bay, he missed out on playing on the same team with wide receiver George Pickens, who had an incredible 2025 campaign — his first with the Cowboys.

Parsons really wants Pickens to go to the Packers

Speaking of Pickens, he is seemingly already being recruited by Parsons to come to Titletown.

Dallas wide receiver CeeDee Lamb revealed before Super Bowl LX that Parsons was among the players trying to lure Pickens, and in a recent video, the defensive end can be seen and heard doing it again during an episode of Bleacher Report’s “The Edge.”

“You ready to be that Green & Gold?” Parsons asked Pickens, who could only laugh in response.

But even if Pickens wanted to go to Green Bay, it would not likely be possible until at least 2027.

Dallas is reportedly franchise tagging the former George Bulldogs star wideout. That tag has a projected cost of $28 million. That is a lot of money, but should be smaller than what he’s going to get in the next NFL free agency.

In 17 games played with Dallas in the 2025 campaign, the 24-year-old Pickens racked up 1,429 receiving yards and nine touchdowns on 93 receptions and 137 targets.
