On paper, it appears that Green Bay Packers superstar pass rusher Micah Parsons didn’t do much against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field on Sunday. The box scores reflect Parsons having just one total tackle and two quarterback hits and zero sacks.
However, there was more to his performance in Week 14 than just those numbers.
After Green Bay’s thrilling 28-21 win over the Bears, the four-time Pro Bowler opened up about his success in helping his team contain Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams.
Micah Parsons on his message to Caleb Williams between plays on the field: “I just let him know, ‘You’re not running around me. You can outrun everyone around (the NFL), but.’ And I held to that the whole game. He did not beat me to the edge one time.”
Packers’ defense steps up in Week 14 win against Bears

Williams concluded the game with just 186 passing yards and two touchdowns on 19-of-35 pass completions. He was sacked once for a loss of nine yards and threw a back-breaking interception that virtually sealed Chicago’s fate. Green Bay cornerback Keisean Nixon dashed Chicago’s dreams of upsetting the Packers in Titletown when he picked off Williams’ throw with under a minute left in the fourth period.
As for Parsons, he is always going to be someone Green Bay opponents will be wary of, regardless of his numbers. Even though he did not record a sack against the Bears, he has already kept his streak alive of double-digit sack seasons, as he has 12.5 so far in the 2025 NFL campaign.
Meanwhile, Green Bay quarterback Jordan Love fared so much better than Williams. Love passed for 234 yards and three touchdowns with an interception on 17-of-25 pass completions for the Packers, who improved to 9-3-1 overall.
