On Sunday, the Chicago Bears and Green Bay Packers will renew the NFL’s oldest rivalry. In Sunday’s game, Green Bay will visit Soldier Field. This will be the 209th meeting between the teams. Green Bay leads the series 107-95-6 all-time.
In the first six games of the season, Chicago went 4-2 and looked promising. However, they have since gone on a losing streak and are currently 4-5. Currently at 6-3, Green Bay is trying to keep pace with the Minnesota Vikings and Detroit Lions.
However, there may be a new wrinkle to the offense coming this week.

As the Packers emerged from the bye week, looking to bounce back from a loss to the Detroit Lions on Sunday against Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears this week, Green Bay may be getting some quality depth onto the field.
This week, the Packers opened the practice window for rookie running back Marshawn Lloyd as he looks to return from an ankle injury that he suffered six carries into his NFL debut earlier this season against the Colts.
Lloyd also suffered a hip injury this spring, shortly after arriving in Green Bay.
In this year’s NFL Draft, Lloyd was selected No. 88 overall, putting him behind Josh Jacobs and Emmanuel Wilson. He will now look to climb up that depth chart.
Green Bay has 21 days to decide whether Lloyd is healthy enough to return to game action, or else the rookie will be placed on injured reserve for the remainder of the season.
