Green Bay Packers fans will never forget what happened near the end of Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears at home.
With the Bears on a 4th-and-1 and needing a touchdown to tie the score with under 30 seconds left in the game clock, Green Bay cornerback Keisean Nixon heroically intercepted Chicago quarterback Caleb Williams in the end zone to save the say for the host team at Lambeau Field.
Thanks in large part to Nixon’s highlight takeaway, Green Bay came away with a 28-21 victory to also steal the top spot in the NFC North standings from Ben Johnson’s Bears.

It was Nixon’s first interception in the 2025 NFL season. Not everyone has been happy with the way he’s playing the defensive back role, so he was asked after the game how he felt about coming up in the clutch amid some criticisms.
“I don’t care,” Nixon said in front of reporters following the contest, via Matt Schneidman of The Athletic. “I do this shit for me. [Expletive] everybody else. Excuse my language, but I am who I say I am, and I always tell myself that.”
In addition to his interception, Nixon also had two total tackles to go along with two quarterback versus the Bears.
The South Carolina Gamecocks football product has yet to have a multi-interception season since entering the league in 2019, when he went unselected in that year’s NFL draft. But he has four more games left to try and get his second defensive pick in 2025.
Coming up next in Week 15 for Green Bay is a road game against the Denver Broncos before a rematch in the Windy City versus the Bears. Green Bay will square off with the Baltimore Ravens at home and the Minnesota Vikings in the Twin Cities in Week 17 and Week 18, respectively.
