Keisean Nixon had a big return
Keisean Nixon is about to get special treatment by NFL teams. After his performance against the Minnesota Vikings, special teams coordinators might be trying to keep kicks away from Nixon. Nixon’s kickoff return in the first quarter gave the Packers a lead they wouldn’t relinquish. The Packers rode the momentum to keep their playoff hopes alive through Week 18.
Since Amari Rodgers was fired from the task, Nixon has been making plays for the Packers on special teams. Last week, he had another explosive return that set up a scoring drive against the Miami Dolphins. He came into Sunday’s game banged up but didn’t show it on the field.
According to Zach Jacobson with CBS Sports, Nixon made a crack at the media after the game. He was unhappy to be named behind Vikings Kene Nwangwu as the best returner.
“Word on the street is [the Vikings] had the best returner, so hopefully we settled that today,”

Nwangwu Has impressive stats. He has three touchdowns on kick returns for his career. One came this season of his 30 attempts. But Keisean Nixon has been the hot hand lately. Nixon is a natural at the position and seems to be a threat on each return. He will get notice from opposing coaching staffs for the rest of the games the Packers play this season.
