Josh Myers may have played his final snap in a Green Bay Packers uniform.
The veteran center is set to become an unrestricted free agent, and while general manager Brian Gutekunst has signaled the organization might be willing to bring the 26-year-old center back, it may be time to begin planning for the next chapter along the interior of the Packers’ offensive line.
Could the Packers draft Josh Myers’ Replacement?

Gutekunst and the Packers could look to the 2025 NFL Draft to mine Myers’ replacement, with the No. 23 overall pick.
That’s exactly how things play out in Yahoo Sports’ latest mock draft projection, with the Packers selecting Oregon offensive lineman Josh Conerly in the first round.
“With center Josh Myers hitting free agency,” Nate Tice and Charles McDonald write for Yahoo. “The Packers could be doing some shuffling along their offensive line, which could have them looking to adding to their line room again early in the draft. Conerly improved rapidly as the season went along, especially with his strength and ability to anchor as well as using his hands more consistently. Conerly has the length and athleticism to stay out at either tackle spot, and could give the Packers another option with pedigree to get their “best five” out there.”
Getting younger along the offensive line is never a bad idea, and Conerly could ultimately be a long-term upgrade at the position.
But, it will be interesting to see if Gutekunst and the Packers prioritize adding young offensive line depth over potentially a playmaking wide receiver or top cornerback in this year’s class. How the Packers handle Myers’ free agency could telegraph whether Conerly winds up in Green Bay’s sights in the draft.
