As good as Jordan Love has been playing in the 2025 NFL season, the Green Bay Packers also rely a lot on running back Josh Jacobs for offense.
The former Alabama Crimson Tide star running back has been an effective go-to option on the ground for Green Bay, which is about to take on a tough challenge this coming Sunday in a Week 15 showdown against the Denver Broncos on the road.
The Broncos boast one of the best defenses in the NFL, especially against the run. Through 14 weeks, they are second in the league overall with just 89.0 rushing yards allowed per game and No. 1 with only 3.7 rushing yards surrendered per carry.
All that being said, there is good reason to expect a solid production on the ground from Jacobs in Week 15, given the success he’s had in the past against the Broncos.
In his career, Jacobs is undefeated in eight meetings with the Broncos. In those games, he rushed for 769 yards and nine touchdowns on 173 carries for a 4.5-yard per carry average. However, this will just be his first time facing the Broncos since joining Green Bay.
But will Jacobs play in Week 15 Packers-Broncos?

One concern about Jacobs, though, is whether he will be able to suit up against the Broncos, as he reportedly did not practice on Wednesday because of a knee issue.
Via Dominique Yates of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel:
Josh Jacobs (knee) is the lone player not practicing for the #Packers. He was off to the side doing rehab while the other RBs were doing drills. Lukas Van Ness (foot), Savion Williams (foot) and Kristian Welch (concussion) are back.
But it could also just be a maintenance day for Jacobs, who hurt his knee in Week 11’s win against the New York Giants before missing Week 12’s date with the Minnesota Vikings. Emanuel Wilson will be on standby for a potential RB1 role in Week 15 if Jacobs ends up being ruled out for the Denver game.
