How long will Aaron Rodgers play? This is the question that many Packers fans ask every season. Yesterday, it was reported that the Packers and Aaron Rodgers had discussed that this was his last season. The source however turned out to be someone who often “reports” stories but is only looking for attention. Packers fans and analysts are letting him hear it. Packers fans are absolutely ripping the analyst who reported on Rodgers career intentions.
Packers Fans Rip Analyst
Seems like a solid source…

As Andy Herman pointed out, this is not the first time that this analyst has reported on something that turned out to be completely false. It is unclear of who Balko is using as his sources but it might be time to find some new ones. Basically every Packers beat reporter has come out to debunk this report. Obviously Rodgers could still retire after this season but at this point no one really knows anything. Rodgers has always been a cryptic person so we will know only when he knows.
I believe NOTHING until it officially comes from Rodgers mouth. Stop clout chasing

This fan gets it. It has to come out of Rodgers mouth for her to believe it. Many people have tried to understand Rodgers and it just hasn’t worked.

This one is a personal favorite. Any time we as Packers fans can poke fun at Colin Cowherd and someone else, it is worth it.
Weird that someone with ZERO ties to the Packers, Green Bay or WI would have this info…….someone is playing you bud

The last reaction sums it up pretty well. This is not a Wisconsin based analyst. Whoever his sources are seem to be playing him and probably don’t have any ties to Wisconsin either. This is just a small sampling of the responses to this report.
Hopefully we get a couple more years for Rodgers. Regardless expect Packers fans to continue to rip analysts that try to predict when Rodgers will retire. As we hit the midseason, the Packers have a lot of work to do and I’m sure the organization is more concerned with what is going on the field right now than in Aaron Rodgers’ mind.
