The Green Bay Packers are on a short week, as they prepare for their second game of the 2025 NFL season this Thursday against the Washington Commanders at home. As usual for such a contest with limited rest, there are questions about Green Bay’s form.
But the same goes as well for the Commanders, who, like Green Bay, is 1-0. The Packers defeated the Detroit Lions in Week 1 at Lambeau Field, 27-13, while Washington crushed Russell Wilson and the New York Giants in Landover, 21-6.
It will be intriguing to see how the Packers will fare against Washington and vice versa, and adding intrigue to this upcoming showdown in Titletown is the look Green Bay players will have on the field. Green Bay has announced that Packers players will be donning their all-white “Winter Warning” threads for the Washington game.
Green Bay has also requested its fans to come to Lambeau Field wearing white.
“You BETTER wear white tomorrow,” the Packers’ post on social media platform X, formerly Twitter, read.r
