Packers Fans React To Matt LaFleur’s Remarks On Changing Staff

Packers fans want changes made to the staff

Five straight losses have Green Bay Packers fans on edge. The team is underperforming relative to where most analysts thought they’d be in early November. Injuries and a roster of inexperience have been a major battle for the Packers this season.

However, not everything can be blamed on the roster. This season, the Packers coaching staff has been criticized for choices made before and during games. The offense has chosen to abandon the run at inopportune times. Defensive coordinator Joe Barry has kept his secondary in zone coverage when players and fans have wanted to see more man coverage.

Head coach Matt LaFleur was asked in his press conference if he had considered changing the coaching staff after the recent string of losses, as other coaches around the league have been fired this season for poor results. He said the Packers did not need a change in the coaching ranks.

    Fans didn’t like that answer

Packers fans responded on Twitter to LaFleur’s answer. They seemed upset that LaFleur seems stubborn in his scheme and loyalty to coaches putting out a consistently bad product this season. Here are some of the best responses on Twitter:

Matt LaFraud can’t make any tough decisions on anything. Change needs to be made to spark the team and hold some accountability. He is a joke of a coach, needs to be fired https://t.co/vkqRHGpvXO
